Illyrian Dominion
An ancient power centered in the Upper Spine, ruled by dragons and structured around draconic lineage.
Elandria Archive
Five broad regions form the current backbone of the setting. This page intentionally stays at the macro level while older material is audited and revised.
Central Elandria
A vast mountain chain dividing much of the continent, the Spine is split between the Upper Spine and Lower Spine, with Whisperwind Valley between them.
An ancient power centered in the Upper Spine, ruled by dragons and structured around draconic lineage.
A network of dwarven holds linked by extraordinary roads, bridges, tunnels, and trade routes.
A fertile passage between the two halves of the range, valuable for trade and frequently contested.
Western Elandria
The older notes use both The Grand Stretch and The Verdant Expanse for this broad region. Until that naming is reconciled, the archive uses a neutral working label.
A loose alliance of human city-states associated with trade, agriculture, horsemanship, and mounted military power.
Half-giant peoples who live both among human communities and in more independent pastoral or nomadic clans.
Rivers, lakes, plains, and frontier steppes make this one of Elandria's great travel and trade regions.
Ash and Obsidian
A severe landscape of ash, volcanic scars, red stone formations, and deadly resource zones. Orc societies have adapted to it through tribal politics, religion, warfare, and specialized survival traditions.
A sacred and hazardous depression at the heart of the region, central to Orc religious tradition.
A politically vital freshwater center whose control shapes relationships among the strongest tribes.
A glassy and magically hostile expanse tied to an ancient conflict and prized for rare anti-magic material.
Eastern Elandria
An immense, ancient forest shared uneasily by four major elven cultures and numerous independent demi-races. The Menalayan Empire projects unity outward while remaining deeply factional within.
Sun, Moon, Forest, and Dark Elves each maintain distinct territories, priorities, and political influence.
Fox-spirits, naiads, dryads, satyrs, centaurs, and other peoples occupy territories outside or at the edge of direct imperial control.
Competition for dominance, alliances with demi-races, and external threats make the forest politically unstable despite its imperial façade.
Frozen South
A brutal southern tundra inhabited by elemental demons whose societies occupy different ecological and political zones across the ice, coast, foothills, and forest borders.
Water, earth, air, and fire demons occupy different parts of the Southlands and have distinct relationships with neighboring powers.
A chaotic city where the four elemental demon peoples converge for trade, conflict, and power.
A vast descending arena-city whose tiers link combat, wealth, celebrity, patronage, and social status.
Revision Note
These region summaries are intentionally conservative. The next lore pass will reconcile names, borders, political structures, cultures, species terminology, religion, military power, trade, and the relationships between neighboring regions before deeper pages are treated as settled canon.
